Dualisms Dissoluble and Indissoluble
Dualism Schmualism: does mind really matter, as long as he’s a good boy and loves his Des Cartes
Heward will argue that the mind/matter dualism is foundational and indissoluble but that this then opens the way to resolvable “spectrum” dualisms, like psyche/soma, preverbal/verbal, primary process/secondary process, volition/cognition and so on.
